error when updeting windows 11

Not sure why you are asking this in a Linux forum but KB5014668 is an optional update - should you choose to install it before the official July Patch Tuesday date.

I would let the Windows Insider group work out the bugs in this thing before installing myself but here's a link to how some folks are dealing with it:

Edit: I just installed the update , so the problem must not be affecting all users. BTW I have Win 11 on a different drive , but currently use grub to select the OS of choice during boot.
